I was General Manager of Aurecon's alliance with mineral processing specialists JKTech from the Sustainable Minerals Institute of the University of Queensland. From this position was involved in significant thought leadership in the mining industry around improving the way mines are developed in recognition of 21st Century conditions. I have written, or co-authored a number of thinking papers and published magazine articles regarding the critical role of infrastructure in mining development and linking of this to the process and mining aspects for an overall optimised mining business. (The alliance was dissolved in 2014 by mutual agreement)
