As the Director of Operations of Aston Monarch Consulting's Midwestern U.S. Division, I am responsible for environmental air reporting and compliance monitoring for twelve departments and provide strategic environmental support onsite at SABIC Innovative Plastics' Mt. Vernon, Indiana facility. My specific responsibilities include the development of semi-annual and quarterly HON MACT, GMACT, MON MACT, NSPS, Title V, and STEPS Inventory reports.A key component of my position is working with plant operations to mitigate and prevent environmental incidents and deviations. To accomplish this goal, I oversee compliance monitoring for MACT and Title V rules and facilitate rapid response to potential air compliance issues, in addition to identifying potential root causes of APCD failures based on data historical trends.A member of Title V deviation reporting team, I assist the SABIC environmental staff in the translation of compliance requirements, participate in internal and external audits, and provide emission analysis of root cause of emission deviations. I was an implementing member of SABIC's successful CAM monitoring plan and provided key development input in preparing and delivering CMMS reports to put in place aggressive preventative maintenance program on critical environmental assets. Additionally, I provide development input in crafting environmental compliance plans and provide air compliance training to plant operations divisions. In keeping with Aston Monarch's communication flow philosophy, I developed MON MACT applicability decision tree work flow process, which has served to ensure good communications around compliance issues between operations, maintenance, reliability, IT, and environmental divisions.
