As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, taught six sections of College Writing I and three sections of College Writing II. Designed curriculum, syllabuses, class presentations, and reading quizzes; selected readings; gave lectures, provided critiques of student writing; graded student work; held one-on-one consultations with students; assigned essays in personal narrative, observation, analytical research, analyses of satire and misinformation, and argumentative/persuasive research; specialized in curriculum to get students out of their seats, interacting with one another, excited about writing; gave guest lecture on nonfiction to Intro to Creative Writing class.

Worked as a bookseller, checking out customers, shelving books, answering phones, setting up author events, and ordering books from distributors. Primary duties included shipping books via USPS and FedEx, with a special focus on the memoirs of Forrest Fenn, including close consultation with the author. Wrote articles for local family-oriented newspaper, Tumbleweeds on children's literature and reading competitions. Conducted Facebook Live interviews with authors.

Tutor in Writing Center for Fall 2016 semester. Assisted students with school assignments, including essays and screenplays. Took part in weekly Writing Center staff meetings. Office Assistant to Creative Writing Department for 2015-2016 school year. Posted writing submission opportunities and department fliers. Assisted with upkeep of the Writing Center. International Office Student Worker for 2014-2015 school year. Communicated with international students and oversaw travel accommodations. Designed presentations and program certificates.

In a summer internship, conducted interviews and research, wrote news articles, and provided feature photographs for weekly paper. Wrote highlights for weekly arts and culture event section, contributed pieces for annual “Best of Santa Fe” special, and reviewed novel for Summer 2016 issue.

Wrote series of articles highlighting local business owners, which appeared in the Business Advocate newsletter, on the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce website, and as an insert in the Santa Fe New Mexican.
