E-8C Joint Starts External Loads Model:· Convert and format legacy E-8C aerodynamic coefficients to be compatible with the latest version of the Boeing Aeroelastic Process (BAP), an finite element external loads simulation tool· Assemble the aerodynamic and aeroelastic coefficient databases to allow for iterations to be ran· Verify E-8C aerodynamic coefficient implementation by running a BAP iteration on an existing KC-135 modelE-6B Mercury Individual Aircraft Tracking System (IATS):· Developed coding structure using Python to process raw 2 years of flight data into identified segments of dynamic gust events· Utilized proprietary Digital Transfer Functions (DTF's) to predict load outputs based on flight measured acceleration signals· Applied Stress Transfer Functions to predict strain response, which allowed for the creation of a damage index based on statistical occurrences to compare the DTF predicted strains and the measured strain responses from the attached gauges· Calculated and optimized a matrix of factors to correct the predictive loads capability of the IATS software· Authored official memo releases to coordinate and verify the correct implementation of the recommended updates · Documented and presented the dynamic gusts loads algorithm and procedures to the customer, Navy Air Systems Command
  • Senior Aircraft Design Project
    Project Manager
Senior Aircraft Design Project Aug 2019 - May 2020
I led a team of 19 students spanning two semesters in designing, building, and flying an aircraft for a senior design project: Rescue Operations Support Unmanned Aircraft System (ROS-UAS), a surveillance and rescue vehicle for the Austin Fire Department. As the program manager I was responsible for ensuring compliance to customer requirements and adhering to deliverable deadlines. I organized and led team in technical reviews for the customer including the QBC, SRR, ASCR, and CoDR.I defined the team organizational structure, communication protocols, individual responsibilities, and scheduling. Additionally, I was able to help guide the team through the adversity of the Covid-19 Pandemic, during which we were forced to complete the course virtually. While we weren't able to finish the construction and fly our vehicle, we were able to complete another design iteration and keep up with the changing requirements of the customer during the uncertain times.
  • Aviall, A Boeing Company
    Engine Services Intern
    Aviall, A Boeing Company May 2018 - Jul 2018
I developed a software tool to estimate the acquisition cost of used aircraft, with a focus on the engines, to allow for quicker business decision making while also maximizing profit margins. The tool recommends the best course of action for the proposed aircraft whether it be to sell immediately, to lease the engines, to sell the individual components, or any combination of these options that may yield the most favorable outcome. The internship concluded with a presentation of my tool to the senior level leadership and delivering my tool and documentation to my full time colleagues.
  • Longhorn Rocketry Association
    Flight Systems Lead
Longhorn Rocketry Association Dec 2017 - Apr 2018
I was responsible for designing and constructing a rocket for the organization's entry for the 2018 IREC (Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition). This included aspects relating to flight operations, recovery, and payload integration. I led a small group of team members throughout the semester to successful complete the construction of the first iteration of the competition rocket, "Syncope".
