Served as Air National Guard’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) and voting member on the Air Force Surgeon General’s strategic level Readiness Training Oversight Committee (RTOC). • Designed and led multiple-discipline teams and change initiatives that elevated the ANG's training readiness and metrics from the worst to the best in the Air Force Medical Service in just 2 years.

Responsible for the health, military readiness/effectiveness, administration, and decision-making authority for all personnel in the Air Force’ s largest medical training squadron.• Commanded 4,600 Airmen trainees and 112 staff at any given time.• Executed a $775K annual operating budget and a $13M annual training budget with zero discrepancies or issues.

Directed all health, military readiness, effectiveness, and administration actions for 113 Air Force members on 3 different units at DoD’s largest Level 1 Trauma Center. Responsible for critical programs including staff training, process improvement initiatives, and compliance with Air Force deployment requirements. Directly supervised all assigned medical staff experiencing professional and personal difficulties and/or legal issues. • Led squadron operations functions for a professional staff of 830 Air Force military and civilian professional staff on 4 adult ICUs, 9 in-patient units, Emergency Dept, Labor and Delivery, Inpatient Mental Health and Neonatal ICU. • Elevated operations efficiency on all units from 30% on-time to 85% on-time in 1 year.

Officer in Charge of the 2 medical surgical units and the bone marrow transplant unit at the second-largest Army hospital in the US.• Led nursing operations conducted by 158 combined Army and Air Force professional nursing staff. • Commanded an additional 122 Air Force nursing staff working on 5 other in-patient care units. • Expertly accounted for $1.4M budget for each unit totaling $4.2M.• Oversaw the patient flow and care of 21,363 patients equating to 468K patient-care hours without error.

Managed education and training operations for 6,000 medical professional and paraprofessional staff annually at the Air Force’s largest medical center located at Lackland AFB in San Antonio. • Led 43 staff and administered an annual budget of $623K. • Directed 22 major hospital programs including on-the-job training, medical continuing education, and professional development training. • Oversaw operations at the Air Force’s only full-service medical library as well as the medical simulation center.

Led, planned and executed all requirements needed to build an $28M field medical training campus with the Corps of Engineers. Served as Air Education and Training Command’s Readiness Training Oversight Committee subject matter expert and voting member.• Completed all construction and equipping requirements 2 weeks ahead of schedule and $575K under budget. • Directed curriculum development of all new training programs for Air Force ground-based medical deployment platforms.• Designed and executed $12.9M project establishing next generation multi-aircraft medical trainers along with full-sized aircraft staging apron and training location.
