Worked at my university help desk in '07. Flew down to Florida and have been sober since 2013. Worked at a few start ups. After one failed, I picked up the pieces and started Rush Tech Support. Grew from $36k to $1.7m in two years. Grew to $4.3m, 50 employees, 6 offices, and burnt it to the ground by taking my eye off the ball, spreading myself thin, and having an ego that told me I knew better. Had 3 years of revenue half the prior year and bottomed out in 2020. We began focusing exclusively on accountants during that time and grew to ~$5m before getting acquired by Rightworks in 2023. An entrepreneur at heart and always coming up with grandiose ideas and sometimes they work well enough to a have an impact and help thousands of people.
