Easternwell Coal was created from the aquisition of a drilling contractor with 5 rigs. I was responsible for the creation of an intergrated coal exploration focused drilling division, incorporating the original 5 rigs, 5 rigs from other divisions and 4 bespoke new drilling rigs to bring contracted rig count to 14.

Set up maintenance facility for complete overhaul of 2 large 1500HP drilling rigs on arrival from the Indonesian Jungle. Oversaw all aspects of facility to deliver rigs on time and within budget.
