-Division Officer- Managed more than 20 men and women, dozens of ship spaces and equipment, and hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of inventory in both the Engineering and Operations departments-Assistant Operations Officer- Coordinated both the ship’s long-term schedule and the daily plan ensuring the efficient use of personnel and ship services while guaranteeing mission-accomplishment-Training Officer- Led the ship’s training program, coordinating dozens of distinct warfare-areas into a cohesive approach to training guaranteeing the ship’s ability to deploy on time and prepared for all eventualities-Assistant Ship’s Maintenance Officer- Recognized an inadequate tracking system and initiated a program to manage a multi-million dollar ship overhaul including over a thousand different work-items which culminated in an on-time completion and a successful major inspection-Acting Operations Officer- Filled in for the Operation’s officer during times of absence, including during the ship’s final pre-deployment certification with a seamless transition and successful certification-Command Duty Officer- Qualified as the senior officer onboard the ship during the Captain’s absence; managed a duty section of approximately 50 sailors overnight and on weekends, responded to personnel and equipment issues, and was trusted to respond appropriately in unforeseen circumstances
