I am a successful SBA and fixed income professional in Houston, Texas with over 25 years of industry experience. Most recently, I was with Flagstar Bank as a Vice President / Senior Institutional Sales Representative where I traded SBA, USDA and FSA loans, SBA 7a pools, and SBA COOFs. I began my career in 1992 as a portfolio analyst with Howard, Weil, Labouisse and Fredrichs, Incorporated where I constructing investment portfolios tailored to clients' balance sheets. Analysis included the understanding of the customer's investment objectives, their risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs and desired use of leverage within the scope of the investment policy.I transitioned my experience to the trading desk. Over this period, I made markets in US Treasuries, US Government Agency Securities, Investment Grade Corporate Bonds, Distress Corporate Debt, Asset Backed Securities, Collateral Mortgage Obligations, General Market Municipal Securities as well as SBA / USDA loans and SBA 7a pools. My cumulative career experience includes portfolio analysis, product trading, product issuance and client coverage. I work with depository institutions, government investment officers, endowments, insurance companies, registered investment advisors, bank trust departments and bank lending officers. I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Master of Business Administration with an Accounting and Finance concentration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian University.
