Here are a few examples of such projects that I led with my clients:- Developed the strategy, projects and roadmap to improve the operating margins of a digital infrastructure business by 600bp within 24 months. Improvements came from pricing, G&A cost reductions and improved procurement discipline. On the ground with the client and team from start to finish and delivered a 700bp operating margin improvement (from 24% to 31%). - Conducted a detailed analysis of wirecenter economics and developed a plan for the upgrade of a telecommunication carrier's consumer and SMB network from copper to fiber. The CEO and Board adopted the plan and our teams supported the execution. As a fast-follow, developed a product profitability model and capability for the client which correctly allocated all wireless costs to products based on activity based drivers. Earned a patent for the approach in the model.- Conducted detailed analysis of the go-to-market motions for an enterprise telecommunications business. Shifted from a renewal to growth focus, and developed a strategy and operating model to increase revenues by $2.5b over 5 years.- Developed the strategy, operating model and roadmap for a telecommunications equipment provider to launch a services business to complement its legacy equipment business. The company followed the plan and grew in excess of a 30% CAGR.In addition to advising clients, I lead Alvarez & Marsal's Telecommunications & Digital Infrastructure Industry Practice.
