We used the charities grant giving programme to raise the profile of the charity, and build engagement with staff and patients of the Trust. We used the charities grant giving programme to raise the profile of the charity, and build engagement with staff and patients of the Trust. This was a challenge as an individual trying to reach across 150 sites across south East England.The COVID Pandemic was a game changer, with the public donating £150m to NHS Charities Together, and grants being made to individual NHS Charities. This brought in significant sums to the charity, and awareness of the potential the charity was capable of delivering for the Trust was raised with Trustees.
