Andrew is an experienced senior executive with a strong interest, and specific experience, in the use of technology to transform traditional businesses. He has a portfolio of directorships in the listed and not-for-profit sectors in the areas of Research & Development, Big Data analytics, Financial Services, Information Technology and Agribusiness.Over the past 12 years he has been actively involved as an investor, director and executive in a number of early stage businesses in the agribusiness, retail, hospitality and services sectors.From 2012-14, Andrew was the Chief Executive of Crowe Horwath Sydney, part of the global Crowe Horwath professional services network. He led a strategic planning and re-structuring program for this business directed at positioning Crowe Horwath as a credible alternative to the traditional Big 4 advisory firms.From 1979-2005, he worked for the global management consulting firm, Accenture for 27 years, retiring in 2005 as a Regional Managing Director. He has over 25 years experience in strategic business and technology planning and the implementation of complex change programs in large multinational companies. He was recognised in Accenture for his specialised expertise in shaping, selling and negotiating complex IT projects and outsourcing deals. He also has extensive experience in selling, negotiating, and delivering complex projects in Asia and Europe and has lived for a number of years in both regions.
