A site-based, varied role requiring a pragmatic approach and a diverse set of skills. Disciplines included termination & testing of structured cabling, general AVIT installation & configuration, and liaising with other trades to progress projects efficiently and to the company's trade-mark high standard. Though typically London-based at residential projects, this role regularly took me abroad.In 2019, I joined Ideaworks’ versatile "Fast-track" team, with a focus on "unusual" projects and/or those requiring a quicker than typical turnaround, often involving direct contact with clients.

In this introductory role, I worked as part of a great team to assemble, populate and cable AV & IT racks ahead of testing, installation and commissioning by the installation teams.

Over 100 consecutive days, I operated the sound reinforcement, lighting & broadcast systems as required by the daily entertainment schedule aboard the 200m Saga Sapphire.
