I started my work in the industry being the html coder that merged Photoshop designs with developed CMS to create a complete website. With daily tasks for over forty clients and project work, client communications skills were key. I've also done website management and editorial responsibilities for an individual website for a trade that posted news articles daily with a forum and ads. My recent work as a in office support government contractor for a center at the NIH has allowed me to grow into a web developer. I converted the entire site to a Drupal based website in the last five years, and my skills working with that software, themeing and devops, is extensive. I believe my best skills lie in talking to a client about what they need, creating a plan to meet those needs, and implementing that plan, no mater the scope of the project.
