Andrew Marshall completed his BA and LLB degrees at the University of Cape Town in 1996. After completing articles with Rushmere Noach Inc in Port Elizabeth he was admitted as an Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer.In order to obtain practical experience in the ICT industry, Andrew completed a software development course (MCSD) and moved to London where he worked as a software developer for three years. His experience included work at a large ISP, a start-up online data storage company, and an online property search service.On his return to South Africa in 2002, Andrew joined LawSure, a company offering innovative web-based solutions to the legal profession, and at the same time returned to the practice of law.After leaving LawSure in 2004, Andrew practiced for his own account, specialising in ICT law. He also acted as a consultant to various legal firms.During 2009 and 2010 Andrew assisted Accenture South Africa in a contract management role, and acquired extensive contract management skills that he utilises to assist clients, and which also gave him valuable insight into how best to structure commercial relationships.Andrew obtained an LLM in E-Law from the University of Cape Town in 2005, and specialises in ICT law.
