Previously held the position of Technical Sales Director at Eastern Voice & Data, a telecommunication and IT managed service provider based in Norwich. Since joining the company in 2016 turnover has grown from £986k to almost £1.7m.As Technical Sales Director I oversee and direct the sales operations, aiming for profit growth and optimal service delivery. Duties entail setting goals and product roadmaps, establishing sales strategies, developing sales programs and marketing projects, and conducting research to find business and client opportunities.When I joined the company, they operated using paper-based processes and relied on sending quotes out on Word documents. I introduce and deployed a CRM/PSA solution called Manage from ConnectWise to manage business processes and increase efficiency by adding a level of automation. Following completion of the Manage deployment an online quoting and proposal tool called Sell from ConnectWise, to helped drive sales as notifications were pushed though when customers reviewed quotes and gave the ability to provide upsell options on a dynamic online quote portal. This software enabled me to build recurring quote request templates for smaller orders, this increased the efficiency of the sales team as it saved time due to the automation.I have secured several large deals and public sector framework agreement with key clients such as Norfolk County Council and Multi-Academy Education Trusts.In 2021 we won a national award from Network Computing for Network Project of the Year for cloud-based network solutions installed for a Multi Academy Trust across 18 schools serving 8,700 Students and staff members.In March 2020 I secured a place on the Everything ICT public sector framework, which lead to us being awarded the contract for sole data cabling contractor for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust.In March 2022 I won a position on Norfolk County Councils framework agreement for telephony services for school with over 400 sites, estimated contract value of £4m. In August I won a position on Norfolk County Councils framework agreement for Connectivity for Education. With over 200 sites due to migrate by March 2024, contact total value is estimated at £5m. We were the only local provider to be awarded a position on both frameworks.
