I love to build products and solutions that improve people's lives.I co-founded the e-commerce store Canada Strong Masks in 2020 and built a team to distribute and donate KN95 and N95 respirator masks to Canadians. This was at a time when Canada's public health agencies were still recommending cloth masks. We spearheaded the widespread adoption of the first made-in-Canada respirators, and championed the first made-in-Canada children's respirators. We now carry Canada's largest selection of respirator masks, plus a new recycling program. We've shipped 450,000 orders to-date. I was fortunate to architect THX Spatial Audio, and to develop innovative power electronics and amplifiers used across a variety of products. These include the world's lowest-distortion AAA amplifiers, high-end pro and home theater systems, award-winning USB peripherals, and high-volume Logitech speaker systems.Many moons ago as a University student, I developed lithium battery systems and solar arrays for 2 solar-powered race cars to compete in the US and World Championships. I also dabbled in my first startup.I'm now focused on products and services for consumer health, mentoring a First Robotics Challenge (FRC) team, keeping up with much fitter people at the local CrossFit gym, and most importantly being a better Dad.
