My name is Andrew McCulloch and I’m a 3rd class Power/Operating/Steam Engineer at Domtar Pulp & Paper in Espanola, ON. Canada. After graduating from Cambrian College, I started at Domtar in 2014 as the Steam Plant Helper. I have since worked my way up the line of progression to become the Recovery Boiler Field Operator. I have over 5 years of experience working with power boilers, hog fuel boilers, recovery boilers, steam turbines, air compressors, chillers, and the auxiliary equipment that goes along with these systems. I also have extensive experience operating from the DCS.I have excellent communication skills and work very well in a team environment. I am always willing to learn new things and do what it take to be successful.
