HBBC is TrashBack's flagship operational site - working with recycling as a tool to empower street people in Cape Town to start earning an honest and fair living and providing the social support to get back on track.The site was started from scratch and within 6 months was trading over 60 Tonnes of recyclables per month, had 8 staff, had interacted with over 400 street people in Cape Town and was supporting 60-80 street people on a daily basis.
