As an TESOL teacher on iTalki, I provide engaging 1-on-1 virtual English classes to adults of varying levels from all over the world. To do so, I create well-designed and unique materials for both grammar and conversation classes that are apt for remote learning and focus on maximizing speaking opportunities during class time. Normally, I confidently juggle a schedule of 15-25 different classes a week consisting of personalized materials for students of different levels, backgrounds and needs. I am highly comfortable utilizing web-conferencing platforms like Google Meet, Zoom and Skype for virtual classes.

At Idiomas Blendex, I gave intermediate-level ESL classes to Spanish speakers in Colombia. My main focus was facilitating language production among my students through a wide variety of speaking and writing activities. I utilized expressive and emphatic communication to overcome language barriers and to clearly explain abstract vocabulary, idioms and complex grammatical concepts while fostering a fun and positive classroom essential for language learning. Additionally, I graded exams, quizzes, and writing assignments, regularly assessing groups of 4-17 students between the ages of 10-55.

I co-wrote and edited this satirical book skewering a potential Trump presidency. During and after publication, I wrote daily jokes, fake news headlines and stories, and came up with visual bits to create content and promote the book on our social media accounts and to lampoon the 2016 presidential campaign.

During my time at Piece, I Delivered on average 20-30 orders per shift for an extremely high-volume restaurant in all types of weather conditions. I also took orders by phone, drove in a responsible and efficient manner to arrive to customers' locations quickly though safely. Though most importantly, I provided cordial and fun service to customers in order to ensure that their experience with our business was a positive one and one that they would come back for.

As a manager at Santullo's, I had the responsibilities of training new employees, cashing out drivers, calculating and recording daily sales records and financial information, overseeing and performing opening and closing duties, and handling customer complaints in a patient and helpful manner. In addition to that, I was tasked with preparing and cooking hand-tossed NY-style pizza and other dishes from our menu all the while performing the aforementioned managerial tasks.

As an intern at Secretly Canadian, I was tasked with preparing orders for shipment and performing inventory at a large distribution center with an extensive catalog of artists.
