Responsibilities: -Ensuring that the manufacturing functions of BPCS meet the business needs of the four manufacturing sites in the UK. This is achieved by listening to users and extracting their requirementsInvestigating current and future software that will enhance the manufacturing aspect of the business. Achievements: -Improved forecast accuracy by measuring the current forecasting method and then implemented a new forecast formula. Also provided the user with a more sophisticated method of analysing the new forecast. Changed the business process and the systems used to purchase engineering parts. Replaced the manual ‘Goods In’ process with a solution that required all goods received to be bar coded. To achieve this wireless hand held terminals and portable printers have been utilised. The aim of the project was to improve stock accuracy and shorten the time taken to process the stock.

Responsibilities: -Project Coordinator for the roll out of BPCS V6.1 within French subsidiary and for the Business Intelligence project.Creating requirement definitions and program specifications documents for in-house development covering the full software life cycle, in particular within the area of ‘Supply Chain’ and ‘Manufacturing’.
