Responsible to the CEO & BOD for restructure of Clubs Player Recruitment dept and Process’s for all 1st team, U21, Development squad and assoc ‘Scouting’. Based at the training ground I built and managed a modern ‘numbers lead - scout driven’ recruitment team inc Recruitment Analyst, Information Analyst, Head Scout, Opposition Scout & 3 x regional Scouts. The Football club wanted a future proof recruitment process independent from manager or individual personnel. Wrote and implemented practical squad strategy reducing squad numbers from 46 to 26 whilst reducing the avg age from 32 to 24, with a clear recruitment pathway for future academy and development squad players.

Responsible for delivery of overview of Football Strategy, Direction and Audience Development throughout the project.Award winning BigBalls Films have created, distributed and monetised some of the most pioneering social entertainment to date, alongside delivering ground-breaking and award-winning advertising campaigns with some of the World’s most forward thinking agencies and brands.

Responsible to the BOD for immediate and urgent ‘holistic’ review of business structure, budgets, accounting and costs including all football costs. Identified significant serious issues, drafted and recommended immediate implementation of business ‘disaster recovery plan’. Despite this, along with generating a number of significant savings (£470,000 savings in 4 months from a budget projecting a loss of £680,000) and offers to purchase controlling interest with guaranteed immediate cash injection, the major shareholder placed the business in administration. With administration immanent and out of my control, I felt my position had become untenable and resigned.

Initially joined Brentford on a consultancy basis to assist Executive Team of 1st team manager, FD and CEO in relation to general club strategy along with all 1st team player recruitment, disposal and liaison. In 2010 I was offered the position of Chief Executive Officer, accountable to the Chairman and Board of Directors.
