CEC IV&V Effort (W41)• Contributed to the certification of the CEC system. Responsible for the validation of the system software component upon delivery by the third party software development team.• Assisted in the development of a test plan to evaluate system functionality from a software perspective. The test was developed to validate system functionality requirements as requested by the government and system security requirements dictated by the government agency. • Assisted in the execution of the system test plan. Duties included the establishment of test event parameters, the administration of the test, collection and analysis of test data, and the generation of a test summary report for delivery to project leads.

Disruptive Technologies (Z31)• Assisted in the manufacturing of over 500 components in support of fielded systems utilized by military personnel. • Evaluated and improved the manufacturing process of system components for a military system through the implementation of pneumatic tools. The introduction of the pneumatic tools reduced manufacturing time tables and resulted in accelerated delivery of the components to the field.• Supported the chemical and mechanical processing of system components for inclusion in military systems. The support provided resulted in the production of over 30 units.• Collaborated with the team’s lead mechanical engineers to apply encoding on the system components.• Evaluated the encoding procedure for a process improvement initiative. Reduced cycle times and increased manufacturing through the introduction of mechanical devices within assembly process.• Developed new techniques to increase safety in the manufacturing of aluminum hardware components utilized in military systems.• Lead manufacturing efforts to ensure established timelines were on track and to maintain an accurate account of hardware components being produced.

Comptroller Division• Conducted a process/procedure assessment within the division. Updated and injected elements within the assessed processes/procedures that improved efficiency and reduced employee workload by 40%. • Assisted with the development of budget plans for the various departments within the organization. Analyzed budgetary reports to extract the necessary data to monitor the budgets of the departments. All budgetary concerns derived from monitoring efforts were forwarded to management for further review and assessment.• Complied carryover amount reports that were forwarded to the organization headquarters for review. Mined the data for inclusions in the reports from an organizational budget system. Imported the mined data into an excel spreadsheet to define carryover targets for department heads as well as headquarter personnel.
