At Liatirio I lead a delivery team of DevOps engineers. A typical team consist of 3-7 DevOps engineers of varying experience levels.At Liatrio our engagements vary. We intend to embed directly with client teams, deliver value and upskill. We believe it’s not valuable to only deliver a technical solution, then leave.. Enabling DevOps transformations is as much about empowering people change as much as it is technology change. An example of an account workstream I lead is one of enabling and heightening a national transportation company’s cloud security posture.While I lead my team, I also remain as a technical contributor. On an engagement I serve in a Technical Principal capacity for my team. For purposes of day to day delivery for Liatrio’s clients, I set technical direction and ensure top tier technical delivery. I’ve found that wearing the technical and people leader hats is very rewarding for me. As a CSD I worked both remote and onsite with our enterprise clients. Engagement roles varied for me at Cloudreach. I worked in solo delivery roles, as part of an engagement team, and as an augmentation engineer. A typical project for me wold include working as a member of an engagement team alongside client teams migrating their on-prem enterprise applications to the cloud. In addition to cloud migrations, I also gained hands on experience working on delivering:- Cloud native applications- CI/CD pipelines - Architecture diagrams

At GE Appliances I was a member of the Cloud Enablement team. My team supported cloud computing infrastructure and services, across GE Appliances. The cloud team also focused on enabling other teams within GE Appliances. The goal was to enable other teams to adapt and embrace cloud technologies and cloud computing best practices. My team consisted of cloud architects & engineers. The Cloud Enablement Team served as the Amazon Web Services consultants for GE Appliances.Daily my teammates, as well as myself, assisted in the creation and maintenance of applications that exist on the Amazon Cloud or in the GE Appliances corporate data center.

As a DevOps team member, I wore many hats. I worked in tandem with another DevOps team member located at Interapt's home office in Louisville, KY. I occupied the DevOps role at Interapt's satellite office in Paintsville, KY. Daily tasks include: - Releasing production applications to the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. - Managing mobile device provisioning for QA department.- Configuring application services such as back end servers & CI/CD pipelines. - Light IOS Development.

I was a Student with the Tech Hire Eastern Kentucky program for 16 weeks. Interapt was the program sponsor. The TEKY program was ran inline with interapts business. During the 16 weeks, I was treated just as an Interapt employee. This helped me gain valuable skill that would have been hard to pick up in an traditional educational environment.
