I am the main co-ordinator and organiser for BLM Gwent; an anti-racist, pro-justice movement that was sparked by the harrowing death of George Floyd. We are currently focused on community-based initiatives and the wellbeing of our communities. My role includes liaising and organising with other community groups and activists across Wales and the UK more generally, organising educational events such as panel discussions and a book club, meeting with institutions such as the police, the government and housing associations in order to discuss and actualise changes in Gwent and across Wales and creating content for our social media pages.

The Make Your Mark 21 (MYM21) Campaign is a nonpartisan campaign that is focused on encouraging 16 and 17 year-old people to vote in the upcoming Senedd elections in Wales. The campaign also encourages people from BAME backgrounds to vote as well. My role included community organising, public speaking, chairing events such as hustings, liaising with institutions and social media campaigns.
