Provide planning, policy, and programmatic support for Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) and ecosystem restoration efforts. Some duties include annual and as-needed reporting, inter-agency coordination, utility company coordination, and intra-District coordination.

- Manage the City of San Diego's Industrial/Commercial Inspections Program and perform supervisory duties for professional staff. - Maintain inventory of 10,000 sites in the second largest city, by area, on the West Coast, and ensure the inventory is prioritized, inspected, and implementing all applicable regulations. - Three years of successful completion of MS4 Annual Reporting requirements to Regional Water Board. - Improve and implement the City's MS4 NPDES Permit Policy and enforce the City's Municipal Code for new and existing development. - Develop, support, and implement Water Quality Improvement Projects for the Inspections Program and exceeded KPIs. - Exceed inspection requirements by an average of 15-25% year after year with a limited budget and low staff levels.- Oversee implementation of field-based, mobile-device inspections software and procedural updates. - Successfully implemented an Industrial-Municipal Inspections Program to meet City MS4 Permit requirements and to help applicable municipal sites stay in compliance with CA IGP (MSGP). - Manage, update, and analyze large databases of inspections (over 3,000 annually) and site inventories (10,000 sites). - Developed increased outreach and education materials, fact sheets, and training documents for industrial and commercial business community. - Oversaw inspection program participation in Regional Environmental Task Force workgroup.- Review consultant task orders and studies for compliance and quality control. - Implemented an innovative, on-going study to quantify water quality improvements due to industrial and commercial inspections efforts. - Hiring Manager for program; developed and implemented new-hire training schedules and protocols; updating existing employee job training and certifications; and tracking emerging industry trainings. - Developed and implemented equity-based inspection assignments and protocols via ESRI GIS products.

- Completed over 900 post-construction site inspections on industrial, commercial, and treatment control BMP facilities (including confined space entries), exceeding inspection assignment requirements year after year.- Developed, tested, and implemented a new inspection technique to better quantify performance of engineered soil and permeable paver type Structural BMPs. It's called "The Infiltrometer".- Reviewed building/architectural plans, water quality reports, and water quality studies for regulatory compliance.- Performed education and outreach to City departments, local industry groups, and industry conferences.- Developed increased education and outreach materials for industrial and commercial business community.- Singlehandedly led the effort to inspect historically neglected industrial areas near the San Diego-Tijuana border to help achieve permit requirements.
