With a passion for fitness I trained at the local Manic Training facility, started by the legendary Graham Muir, and then started Manic Training in the Vail Valley. As with my other business this business was started with minimal capital and tons of passion. We are now the prominent functional fitness training facility in the Valley, and continue to change lives on a daily basis. The Manic Training program is a training program put together to improve athleticism for active people wishing to live and compete in an active mountain lifestyle. The strength and conditioning aspects of many sports have been aligned to bring challenging, yet beneficial workouts. The programming is designed to increase strength, power, work capacity and durability for real world challenges. These sessions use full body workouts and compound movements utilizing free weights, medicine balls, sandbags, heavy bags, Kettle-bells, spin bikes, rowers and many body weight exercises… in many different formats.

Started as an entry level sales associate with a passion for the outdoors and in particular skiing. Was able to assist clients in the purchase of skiing level specific gear, and consistently was top sales person with in the region. Experience and attitude lead to a promotion of hard goods manager for a location, then multiple locations including training of multiple staff. A final promotion to hard goods buyer which included equipment research, customer and vendor relations, and negotiation of purchases and contracts with said vendors. A move to Steamboat Springs and land development lead to a heavy heart in leaving the Ski Industry, but excitement about a new venture.
