During this summer internship I worked in the Savannah River National Laboratory supporting the liquid waste processing facility Salt Stone. This facility converted radioactive liquid waste into concrete and I was part of the team designated to keep it running efficiently. I designed and ran all sort of experiments to develop methods to improve the facilities operations.
