The role is responsible for the overall development, maintenance, support and hosting of the CardOneBanking banking solutions. It sits in the senior management team helping to shape the future of the business.

I am responsible for the Architecture (Software And Hardware) of Spectrum's software solutions, primarily their banking platform. This has included managing a team of developers, contractors, testers, and database specialists to initially develop the platform, while at the same time acting as lead developer. More recently it includes providing the current team with technical specification and direction, implementing agile scrum methodology, managing tests and managing releases. On top of this the role includes dealing with third party providers of hosting solutions and consultants in security and PCI to ensure reliability and security in growth of the platform.

At TFC I began work as a Web Developer, progressing to Systems Developer and finally to Senior Systems Developer. Throughout this time I had ownership of a Secured Loans Workflow / Quoting and Document production system, a leads broker system, a .NET finance document production web service and I also acted as a senior developer on car dealership finance system which subsequently rolled out to all Subaru, Daihatsu and Isuzu dealership in the UK.
