I am currently a senior majoring in Marketing at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. I have taken several Marketing related classes ranging from Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Financial Management, and Strategic Marketing. I plan finishing with my Bachelor degree in Marketing in the spring of 2015. I have taken at least 12 hours every semester I have attended at WCU and Southwestern Community College where I graduated with my Associates in Arts Degree. At the same time I have worked in a family owned restaurant in Franklin, NC as a dishwasher/server since 2003. In completing my time and degree at WCU, I plan to find a occupation within Marketing that will allow me to work in a different field for a different kind of salary.In my spare time I enjoy listening to music and playing sports of all kinds. I play a number of instruments from the guitar, drums, and piano. Being active is a very important role in my life as well as maintaining a good health level and working out. In my time at WCU I have been developing very useful skills that pertain to all levels of Marketing. From the business to the consumer and everything in between I have experienced most all aspects of developing marketing strategies for businesses and how well their consumers react to their purchases.Originally my dream job was to work as a Musical Engineer and help record and edit different tracks of music. But in the process of achieving my degree in Marketing, I felt it wise to start looking for internships towards jobs that related towards Marketing or in Finance as well in Sales.
