Human Services Supervisor: Information Systems, Quality, And Housing
CurrentSupports high-priority project management and quality efforts within the Department. Also, directs the day-to-day operations of the Department Housing Unit. • Manages and Oversees Information Systems and Quality Assurance projects in Human Services. Provides complex supports for improvements and efficiencies. Proposes and designs improvements for service delivery.• Leads Quality Control Management for Department Information Systems. Develops and determines the validation process to ensure the collection of quality data. Provides leadership supports in quality control efforts.• Provides complex functional analysis for Human Service programs. Helps with the interface between Human Services and the IT Department for mutual projects. Meets with management personnel to analyze problems and implement solutions. • Develops procedures to produce reports and statistical analysis. Initiates procedures for effective evaluations of targeted project areas. Designs and monitors quality control systems.• Directs and Supervises Housing Staff. Interviews, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and issuing disciplinary action. Directs orientation, training, and supervision of staff. Interprets personnel rules, union contracts, and ensures staff accountability to policies and procedures. Create team culture and dynamic to encourage positive employee engagement and optimal outcomes for customers and programs.• Systemic Development and Analysis Methods. Identifies needs for agency by establishing a gaps-analysis process. Analyzes current processes to recommend adjustments and efficiencies. • Provides Oversight and Fiscal Management for Housing Programs and other identified Priority Projects. Develops contracts and information for the Board as needed, according to Blue Earth County protocols. Authorizes unit expenditures and monitors the unit budget. Participates in the annual capital expenditure budget planning process.
