Working as a volunteer on a new programme called - New Shoots.New Shoots initiative aims to inspire the next generation of talent by giving people insights into the horticultural industry and a taste of working in a public garden. NT Volunteer Ranger - Formby complete specific projects and include:• Caring for Formby's woodlands• Restoring rare dune heath habitats at Larkhill through tasks such as invasive scrub removal• Rejuvenating the popular Wicks Lake area• Helping maintain infrastructure and facilities including fences, pathways and the boardwalk

The Charity manages the Community Centre on behalf of its member organizations such as Self Help Groups, the St John ambulance etc., leasing it from the Sefton leisure department and managing the programme of activities.

During Andrew’s time as Head of Standards at Marsh Limited, he has been responsible for:• Review of the Controls Quality Assurance (QA) landscape in the combined Marsh/Jardine Lloyd Thompson business.• Reported recommendations following the QA landscape review to the Marsh Quality Committee. • Designed, socialised, and implemented a QA Framework for Marsh Ltd business.• Provide 2LoD guidance, support, and challenge to businesses both in UK&I and globally as a trusted Quality Assurance subject matter expert.• Develop a senior management Quality Assurance Strategy - “A top Down” solution.• Project Managed for MMC globally the introduced of an automated QA recording, reporting and analytical analysis solution.• Developed, working closely with central administration and IT services, a service support solution for the automated global QA solution.• Acted as chairperson for the global Create Committee, objective “build out state of the art data collection & report monitoring tools”.

Andrew is responsible on a group worldwide basis for the definition, development and deployment of QA covering Policy, Methodology, Framework and Tools (Systems). He is positioned in the 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD) delivering oversight and challenge on QA coverage, adoption, implementation and governance. Andrew works closely with the business to support their deployment and development of QA within their operating company. Recent key focus has been in business entities located in Asia and Latin America.Andrew is the ‘Administrator’ for JLT’s global web based cloud solutions for QA (QCAS and QlikView) and Risk Management (Risk Manager) and is the principal contact with the external IT suppliers on development, contractual, and issue management areas.
