Our world has entered the age of plastics, leaving behind enormous amounts of plastic waste. Our streets, lands and waters are polluted by plastic shopping bags, PET bottles and package foils. Only a fraction of plastic waste is collected. And even so, in most cases is incinerated or landfilled, becoming a pollutant of a different form.The PlastOil developers spent almost ten years in a quest for the most reliable technology that would turn plastic waste into something clean and usable, while being economically viable. A tough ask, but PlastOil has been successful.PlastOil Technology turns most common plastic waste into clear oil, usable as an ecological fuel. The technology produces only minimal amount of residual waste, i.e. only 1-3 % when using the recommended feedstock. This residual waste is harmless and can be further used, especially the methane released. Exhaust gases are far below the observed standards and regulations.Ground plastic waste undergoes thermal depolymerisation, during which long molecular chains of plastics decompose into short-chain of petroleum hydrocarbons. I established and developed the Brands Distribution business of OCL across the Pacific Islands.Agencies gained for OCL included Logitech, Samsung, Belkin, Strontium, Acer and a host of supporting brands.As a start up within an existing business, it was designed to leverage the warehouse and operational infrastructure that OCL has in the Pacific - supporting a "Just in Time" wholesale model for existing customers and newer retail partners.
