    Andrew is our local Southern California guide and coordinator for all activities associated with the Southwestern US from local climbing in San Diego County to canyoneering and kayaking in Arizona. Andrew comes to us from a diverse textile manufacturing background graduating from North Carolina State University with a degree in Textile Engineering. This gave him the opportunity to design and manufacture many of the products that we use today ranging from climbing tapes, webbing and ropes to backpacks and outdoor clothing. While he can talk to you for hours on his experience in this field he has also been an avid outdoor enthusiast since first becoming involved in scouting at a young age. Andrew grew up on the East coast where he has climbed and hiked the Appalachians, the Great Smokies and the Poconos for over 20 years. Growing from there he has trekked, climbed and skied many of the great mountains and trails across the country. He is very excited to be able to take people out of their offices and houses and experience what drives him to get out of bed every morning, the great outdoors. Area of Specialization: Andrew is responsible for all local adventures including the TST climbing programs and instructional curriculum. Andrew coordinates and develops these events and has extensive knowledge of backpacking, camping, skiing, rock climbing instruction and safety.
