In this position, I developed and executed an internal product visibility project related to the flow of goods through our distribution centers to our Nike Brick and Mortar (B&M) and wholesale supply chain networks. Through optimized visibility and planning, I was able to contribute to the savings of ~$19 million per year in organizational labor efficiency gains. To support the program initiatives, I worked with a highly cross-functional team to create tools, templates and processes to drive standardization across geographies. Through this standardization, I facilitated closer collaboration between functional business and technical partners to establish roadmaps, critical value drops and organizational dependencies to keep the program on track and drive successful adoption. I was also responsible for designing and developed communication templates for all transition management purposes of the program.

In my role, I was responsible for supply chain operations and strategy deployment for North and Central America, contributing to the development of our supply chain to service key business initiatives. Specific responsibilities included establishing the companies first physical presence in Mexico, establishment of a flexible supplier base within North and Central America, and key contributions to supply chain strategy efforts in Asia and Eastern Europe. Through heavy cross-functional collaboration with finance, warehouse, inventory, and client account teams, my team was able to optimize and reduce time to market for new product releases.My team developed robust policies & procedures and executed audits to ensure vendor compliance in the areas of business sustainability, environmental responsibility, and social accountability. To support adoption of the guidelines, we developed a robust KPI tracking and measurement scorecard to assess risk & nonconformance. Implementation and enforcement of these policies and procedures ultimately led to an overall annual reduction in production costs based increased confidence in foreign supplier performance. In addition to overall supply-chain strategy, I handled all critical negotiations (contracts, terms, NDA's, etc.) between EYELEVEL and it's vendor base and implemented a regional database solution for our supplier network to maintain governance and document control between exchanges with our vendors. Lastly responsible for the global certification of EYELEVEL against FSC & SA8000 standards.

As the Resit Chemist, I ran a laboratory team responsible for leading testing and certification of our critical materials to identify non-conformities and root cause analysis for raw material defects. Through this function, I also served as the primary global interface between Cytec Aerospace and raw material suppliers, responsible for sourcing vendors, developing certification plans, and conducting on-site audits to ensure compliance with required Code of Conduct and industry standards (ISO 9001; ISO14001; 19001). Additionally, I contributed to corporate supply chain strategy development and risk mitigation planning initiatives for our product portfolio. Strategies implemented resulted in contributions to improved product performance, reduced production disruptions, and decreased hazardous waste output. In addition, I contributed to cross-functional efforts with purchasing, safety & health, research & development, and field technical services departments to reduce health and safety risk and increase environment sustainability efforts at my core facility.

Responsible for assisting research and product development projects focused on next generation toughened epoxy systems for aerospace customers. Considered internal / external SME in microscopic analysis to research phase morphology impacts on product performance and assess mechanical performance defects caused by void formation in aerospace composites. Specific accomplishments include identified implications of phase separation in toughened epoxy systems, development of next generation Out-Of-Autoclave (OOA) prepreg product line, and key contributions to development of toughened carbon fiber composites for the company portfolio portfolio.

In this role, I was responsible for assisting research projects centered on the in-situ functions of cellular protein complexes. Specific accomplishments include research contributions to Ubiquitin protein cell degradation signaling projects and advancements in the understanding of protein chain formation to determine potential implications on cancer cell growth. Also responsible for the operation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment and analytical instrumentation within laboratory.
