During this period I worked as an self employed advisor, selling life insurance products. These consisted of Life Cover, Criritcal Illness Cover and Income Protection. It was my responibility to build rapport, establish the reason for interest and carry out a fact find, I then searched the market, carried out pre sales with the insurers and then went back to the customers with a recommadation. I would always make sure the customer understood each product fully including key features, benefits and exclusions.

I started my career at Protected as an Account Manager, selling life insurance policies to potential customers who had expressed an interest in the product on-line. It was my responsibility to build a rapport, establish reasons for interest and give the customer all the information in order for them to make an informed decision. During this time, I would consistently hit targets. After completing the internal 'Future Leader' training scheme (a place on which I earned by merit) I was promoted to Team Leader of a group of Account Executives. I assisted with setting the team up from scratch, established processes to ensure that procedures were followed and sales targets were met. I coached and developed my team, setting them targets and reviewing their progress during monthly reviews. During this time as Team Leader my main accomplishments were developing employees to become Account Managers and creating a new script for employees to follow.
