I directly take care of a floor with approximately 50 students. When I am on call, I am responsible for an entire building of around 850 residents.My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming community in Owen Hall. This involves a wide range of responsibilities, such as:Running floor and hall eventsMediating conflictsDirecting students (primarily freshmen) to campus resourcesProviding academic and career guidanceDisabling malfunctioning fire detectorsAddressing trespassing, as well as drugs and alcohol issuesMaintaining newsletters and bulletin boardsIn general, I strive to offer any support that benefits my students, both on my floor and throughout the hall.

Through the SCALE program I am working with a Purdue SoCET team to build an open source standard cell library and PDK using the AcuSEMI 800nm process. Most of my work has been focused on integrating the standard cell library with Openlane, a frontend that packages together a variety of open source ASIC design tools. I have also worked to do basic standard cell characterization of digital logic cells as well as standard cell design using Klayout.

Purdue STARS is an 8 week program to train students in either IC design or manufacturing. I was in the IC design track where I learned digital design with System Verilog and worked with a team to develop an Open Source 8 bit CPU compatible with the MOS 6502 Instruction Set Architecture where we won the students choice award for the best project in the STARS design track. Through this we learned FPGA prototyping and completed a tapeout on the Skywater 130nm process by working with eFabless.
