In this role I am responsible for the management of contracts within the Regional West Vancouver region. Responsibilities include:- Provide ongoing commercial support to Regional West projects; including change order development, claims support, subcontractor management and contract close out- Negotiation and approval of subcontract / supplier terms and conditions- Management and resolution of claims (client and subcontractors)- Conduct Prime Contract reviews to identify commercial risks/opportunities - Conduct reviews of RFQ/RFP documentation and provide commercial recommendations regarding proposals- Development and ongoing maintenance of subcontracting, change management and contract closeout procedures- Responsible for driving compliance of corporate processes and procedures - Development of monthly reports including financial and risk management summaries- Liaise with project support functions as necessary and act as point person to the project team / operations group (e.g tax, insurance, legal, HR, security)- Delivering contracts training sessions (in person/via Skype)

In this challenging role I was the lead Contracts Administrator as part of the KGL joint venture constructing the South West Calgary Ring Road. Responsibilities included:- Responsible for all prime contract administration on the project -Development of change order documentation and associated contractual notices- Negotiation of all utility agreements required to complete the project- Management of the Procurement and Document Control teams- Management and resolution of subcontractor claims - Providing commercial feedback relating to subcontractor proposals and KGL’s bid evaluation report- Negotiation of subcontract terms and conditions with suppliers on the project- Provide senior management with monthly commercial summaries - Development of the Contract Admin and Procurement procedures on the project- Delivering contracts training sessions
