Results driven leadership across the Town of Milton's Economic Development Division with accountability for development, implementation and reporting of the Towns Economic Development Strategic Plan. This leadership includes human and budgetary resource oversight across the division as well as collaboration with other internal divisions to progress initiatives and activities which will support the achievement of key strategic economic and community development priorities.Responsible for the development of and public reporting on the Town of Miltons Corporate Strategic Planning. Regular secondments to the Office of the CAO where I provided strategic oversight across a number of high profile strategic projects on behalf of the Niagara Region utilizing a wide range of skills including:- Strategy Development- Stakeholder engagement and partnership development- Project and internal resource coordination and capacity building- Performance management and performance reporting- Government advocacy and public reporting- Business case and grant funding developmentKey successes include:- Supported the Canada Summer Games bid committee in developing the successful bid application.- Successfully secured local government funding to supplement provincial and federal funding for the now constructed Canada Games Park and Rowing Centre.- Supported the Regional response to the Covid-19 pandemic via initiatives such as the development of vaccine distribution planning, securing and preparing 12 vaccine clinic locations across Niagara.

• Oversee the development and rollout of a departmental quality improvement strategy across six public health divisions.• Guide the department in the development of strategic planning, operational planning and quality improvement planning.• Support Public Health leadership in the setting and monitoring of performance against outcome and output indicators.• Lead a team of specialists in the fields of Medical Informatics, Project Coordination, Public Policy Development, Knowledge Mobilization, Training & Education, CQI and Administrative Support.• Manage rollout, maintenance and enhancements to the health unit’s electronic medical record (EMR) and use of data collection to improve access to Business Intelligence.• Responsible for the management of department and corporate projects such as the development of Niagara Region’s Global Attractiveness Strategy, Evidence Informed Public Health implementation and the application of Life Course Theory.• Monitor compliance with provincial legislative standards and develop plans strategies where compliance is not being maintained.

• Responsibility for customer service strategy and lead the investigation of patient care complaint enquiries, accidents, injuries and near misses in collaboration with allied agencies such as the police, fire departments, local hospitals, Ministry of Health and the Centre for Paramedic Research and Education (CPER).• Recommend system policy changes and assist in the development of general training and bespoke remedial requirements of medical professionals based on investigatory findings.• Work with operational managers to process map operational processes and apply CQI and LEAN/Six Sigma Principles to improve and identify efficiency opportunities.• Project manager of the EMS’s preparations for the triennial Ministry of Health Accreditation and accreditation with other accrediting bodies.• Liaise with police department, external law firms and the Regional legal team in representing the interests Niagara EMS and the Paramedics in the legal environment.• Brief and advise Niagara EMS Senior Management on specific issues which may be generate public and media interest.• Chair of the Niagara EMS Policy and Procedure Committee and Committee member of the Niagara Region Public Health Strategic Planning Committee.• Oversee on behalf of the Niagara Region the contractual obligations of the Niagara Regional Police Service in their performance of the 911 Public Safety Answering Point agreement.

Project Management of the development and delivery of a new bespoke Assurance System for the Ministry of Justice.Development and delivery of a standardized training package to all Courts across England and Wales.Logistical management of training delivery.

Responsible for interviewing/questioning staff to identify their roles and responsibilities, draft, negotiate and finalize ‘bespoke role profiles’ for each member of staff.Independent member of the national scoring panel which was responsible for providing national steer on the project, review the work of the interviewees and negotiate with Trade Union side in the reallocation of generic pay bands and staffing structures.

Responsible for the internal audit of administrative and financial systems across the Humber and South Yorkshire Area.Advised Court Managers on their control environment and report to Senior Management on any risks identified.Delivered training and implement new systems of control across the area.Worked with Regional Management on the identification of risks across the business and develop systems of control to mitigate these risks.Liaison with allied agencies and key stakeholders such as Internal Audit Division, Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Court Administration and the Crown Prosecution Service.
