Managed Delivery Partner (MDP) Lead - Hong KongHaving established himself as a ‘GoTo’ Programme Director within this Global Programme and Project Management commission, Andrew was asked to evaluate the performance of the Hong Kong - Managed Delivery Partnership (MDP) programme in early 2019.Providing evaluation and delivery transformation recommendations, Andrew commenced full-time leadership of the Hong Kong (HK) MDP team in Q2, 2019, and has:• Developed strategic transitional plans, engaging Global, Regional and Country resources to initially stabilise service delivery.• Led the 70 member MDP team to growth in capability and capacity during the transformation journey from stabilisation to becoming a high performing team.• Established Arcadis as a trusted advisor, integrating seamlessly with the clients Capital Project, Operational and Real Estate leadership teams in Hong Kong and Globally.• Achieved improvement across all reporting metrics, both tangible and discretionary, whilst achieving the highest ever Hong Kong Client satisfaction Key Performance Indicator Scores.Whilst re-shaping the delivery teams to improve performance and de-risk project programme delivery, this transformational role delivers significant value in terms of co-ordination, control and stakeholder management, enabling the client and local delivery teams to adhere to the global standards for Project Management delivery.

Andrew was initially commissioned to undertake a Capital Project Management Performance audit in Argentina. Following the success of the analysis and implementation of turnaround recommendations, the critical project was successfully delivered and the team in place, trained and re-organised to enable sustainable future delivery.Andrew was subsequently appointed to a newly created role as the clients GPMO Regional Lead for Latin America (LATAM) and latterly the Americas as a whole. Andrew provided regional Capital Project leadership and Corporate Real Estate support, to drive the change programme required in the region, towards delivering within the newly designed GPMO standards. During this time Andrew reported directly to the clients Regional CFO and directed outsourced Project Management teams for multiple programmes in The Americas.

Andrew joined the commission in a turnaround capacity and having conducted a detailed evaluation and audit, led a diverse team of over 120 stakeholders to deliver a programme of 53 projects. This culminated in 26 individual planning applications being submitted within 6-weeks enabling the client to achieve their critical milestones.

Andrew provided the UKs largest Real Estate Investment Trust with an Employers Agent and Project Management role for a large mixed use, design and build development project in Central London. The Project comprises:- Demolition of an existing building and construction of five storey deep site wide basements, two story retail podium, car parking and subterranean UKPN primary sub-station.- 12 storey commercial office building- 14 storey prime residential apartments (100 units fully fitted out).- External works and Public Realm to the entire site.

Andrew commissioned and led a team of preeminent design consultants to produce a feasibility study to consider a complex capital retail investment proposition. Having authored and presented the study, Andrew identified four emergent project work-streams; including a £60m Interior Design project, a master planning development, an asset enhancement programme and the development of a bespoke PMO project controls platform.As Programme Director, Andrew mobilised all work-streams, and was instrumental in enabling the refurbishment project (delivered in 2016) and determining the Master planning strategy. The masterplan was granted planning permission in 2017.

Andrew was responsible for the implementation and delivery of Project Delivery services in the emerging market of India. Whilst developing a project delivery platform, Andrew executed a programme management role, managing asset creation and implementing E'procurement solutions for global clients throughout India.

Andrew was responsible for the mobilisation and delivery of Project Services in the emerging market of Saudi Arabia (KSA). As client representative, Andrew was embedded within the client team and responsible for service delivery; managing multiple consultants, contractors and operators to deliver projects across Saudi Arabia.In a parallel workstream, Andrew delivered a highly complex cut and carve retail refurbishment for the leading food retailing group in KSA.

Andrew led a team of thirty-three people, delivering corporate real estate, hotel and residential projects within Dubai for a large corporate client. The role encapsulated total development delivery; managing consultants, contractors and operators from project inception to handover, with a combined portfolio value of several billion US$.

Management of a project delivery team, delivering corporate real estate services, to financial services clients (internal and external) within the UK and Western Europe.Program managing and delivery of multiple projects, considering funding cycles, real estate, program, legislation, cost, quality, risk and occupational workplace constraints.Strategic review and change implementation to services, including; best practice project management methodology, workplace analysis, statutory compliance, real estate analysis and data capture, commercial cost, consultant management, collaborative IT tools and facilities management integration.

18 month Sabbatical in South East Asia - inc. 6 months in Cambodia as a Dive Master.

Reviewed in-house and contracted facility support services for two 30 storey multi-tenanted City of London properties and implemented a change management program to drive service improvement and cost reduction in all estate services.

Develop and provided project management, help desk, building fabric and maintenance services to key portfolio clients. Restructuring an unprofitable workplace services team of nine staff, into a customer focused, profitable business department.
