Cybersecurity Branch Chief for USAREUR-AF Mission Partner Network (MPN). Provide operational guidance and leadership of cybersecurity requirements on the MPN, in support of ineroperability efforts with NATO and Allied Parterns in Europe. Assess, validate and manage compliancey and governance of the enterprise in accordance with US DoD and NATO FMN standards. Mitigate cyber risk in allignment with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) 2.0 to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information technology resources to mission critical operations.

Act on behalf for the Director of Cyber Security Operations in directing subordinate USAREUR elements in conjunction with or during the Director of Cyber Security Operation's absence. Provide guidance and support to the DoD Security Operations Center (SOC) on assessed threat of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) malicious Cyber actors and other state-sponsored hacking groups and actors. Coordinate with DoD and NATO leadership to establish operational goals, requirements, and planning documents to sustain and improve collective defensive cyber operations (DCO). Produce reports, technical assessments, surveys, and evaluations as needed based on cyber incident management problems, threats, and deficiencies. Represent USAREUR HQ on inter-agency task forces specific to cybersecurity, contingency operations, critical infrastructure security, and insider threat responsibilities. Develop, coordinate, and finalize cybersecurity incident management/response policies and processes USAREUR HQ. Identify program requirements based on new and emerging security technologies and associated threats and vulnerabilities. Validate and implement new policies and IR tool sets; institute capabilities to ensure security compliance, manages vulnerability remediation, and measure USAREUR's collective cybersecurity posture. Ensure that CIO policies, strategies, and plans are effectively and consistently communicated to affected G6/S6 staff, USAREUR customers, and supporting contractors. Present briefings and recommendations concerning cyber threats and incidents to various USAREUR and NATO management levels.

Responsible for system administration and software development for various content management systems. Applications platforms and technologies include: Documentum Content Server, Documentum XCP, Media Transformation Services, PowerShell, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, SQL, IIS, C#, JSON, JAVA, JScript, Hyper-V and integrative solution development. Provides system administration and Information System Security support for all electronic record functions, managing record security requirements and user privileges. I collaborate closely with IT staff to plan, design, and maintain multiple system architecture platforms. Design, develop and implement redundancy and disaster recovery plans for critical application systems.
