Andrew Stack is a Managing Director in Apollo's Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and is responsible for growing the firm's business providing investment management solutions to insurance companies.Prior to joining Apollo, Andrew spent 9 years in BlackRock's FIG business where he was most recently a Managing Director and Head of the Life & Annuity Practice responsible for overseeing the firm's general account investment management relationships and activities with clients in the segment. Before joining BlackRock, Andrew was part of the Financial Institutions Group at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation where he spent time in both New York and Tokyo focused on the firm's broader commercial banking activities with insurers, asset managers, funds, and broker dealers. Andrew started his career at AXA Equitable in New York where he worked in both the firm's variable annuity product distribution and investment management divisions.Andrew is a CFA charter holder and graduated with honors from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2008.
