I understand and accommodate the fundamental interests that people and organisations bring to the tableI have been awarded for my community and public service including with a Centenary of Federation Medal (CFM).I have undergraduate degrees in the Arts and Sciences and a postgraduate Degree in Project Management. I work in the for purpose sector, and the public sector, in senior management roles.In 2000 I established a network of professionals across the South Pacific, supported by the United Nations. The Pacific Youth Environment Network was a visionary regional cooperation project that supported technical and managerial capability across Oceania. Many members of the network now occupy senior positions in government and the private sector.Between 2000 and 2005 I built out the Nature Conservation Council's flagship Bushfire Program, during the millenium fires. I helped establish the Hotspots Fire Program and contributed to significant law and policy reform leading to better vegetation management across NSW. In 2006 I managed the Crown Land Estate in the Greater Sydney Metro region. In 2007 I established the communication and marketing program for London's major new wetland nature reserve, and in 2008 I returned to NSW to establish the first regulatory system for private native forestry. In 2012 I managed Kakadu National Park's natural and cultural heritage operations. I then led Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation’s new residential college through its first year of operation.At NSW Aboriginal Affairs I established and delivered the Aboriginal Economic Prosperity Framework which led to the Aboriginal Procurement Policy in 2019. I advise the Premier's Department in relation to native title, Aboriginal land rights and land and natural resource management, and work with agency partners.
