I have been in practice for 40 years. My practice relates to the resolution of all types of disputes arising out of major technology, engineering and construction projects. Such disputes include the usual disputes relating to time, cost or quality, common in construction projects, to disputes arising from the financing of such projects, computer models of all types including those used to predict financial viability, derivatives which form part of the revenue stream for completed projects, joint venture disputes and disputes relating to directors duties in respect of projects. I also advise Australians investing overseas about the possible protections available for such investments pursuant to Bilateral Investment Treaties and Free Trade Agreements and foreign investors, investing in Australia, in respect of such Treaties.I am proud to have working with me a talented group including a significant number of engineers (various disciplines), US and UK lawyers and highly qualified academics.In my practice we bring together a superior understanding of the law and a deep understanding of the commercial and technical requirements for the delivery of major projects, which we believe produces superior commercial outcomes for our clients.
