My role is very much underpinned by the need to ensure our tech provides real-life improvements and added security to people's lives. My public sector background will help VideoSoft deliver solutions for public sector organisations, local authorities, the police and emergency services.

As the Director of Electronic Security at Active Communication Company Limited my focus is to help individuals and companies evaluate their security requirements and provide a compliant and robust system that meets their needs.We provide a complete end to end solution with ongoing support and advice.

At the end of 2016 I started my new role as Street Czar. I continue to be responsible for Public Space CCTV in LBHF and RBKC but I now have a wider responsibility for the 'streets' in LBHF. The idea is that residents and businesses have a single point of contact in the council who can tailor Council services to their needs in the their area. I'm going to focus in the first instance on the silo mentality that LBHF, like most large organisations suffer from - 'its not my problem' - I am going to stop that being a problem for residents - they don't care what directorate deals with it - they just want it dealt with - I will be resolving issues from security to rubbish.From 2010 I have managed the Public Space CCTV service for LBHF and from the start of 2013 I have been responsible for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s CCTV service. I have been instrumental in a number of major changes within the service – I have merged the service delivery of RBKC CCTV with LBHF CCTV as part of the ongoing drive to reduce costs by amalgamating services between the two Boroughs. I have removed a number of contracts from the RBKC side as they were not good value for money and will deliver in 2014 the procurement of a single maintenance contract for both systems that will realise substantial savings and provide a greatly improved service. The joint service budget will be reduced by 25% while delivering a better system that continues to grow. I have also delivered huge growth of the system and integration by securing funding from many diverse 3rd parties. In 2009 I was given the task of reorganising the delivery of the physical security of the Council buildings. In 2003 I setup and managed a new out-of-hours service dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour on Council Estates. We successfully achieved year on year reductions in both crime and ASB on Estates, all within budget.
