Integrate logistics plans and maintenance concepts with other functional specialties such as supply, transportation, automatic data processing, and financial management. Analyze and/or evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics management program throughout the command.

Instruct under graduate classes in Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations Management. Instruct students on how to design and execute “best in class” supply chain policy, procedures and contracts and how it affects Return on Investment.

Compile data across multiple sources in a standardized format to present defendable logical solutions to upper management. Communicate with various organizations within and outside DOD to ensure data collected is relevant to improving carrier safety.Transform data and analysis into informative data visualization and/or interactive dashboards. Derive insights and analytic narratives from data analysis for clear communication in response to specific research questions. Identify and interpret trends and patterns suggesting systematic safety implications. Act as an internal resource, assisting leaders in analysis, evaluation, troubleshooting, and documentation of products, processes, and ADP systems. Develop data-driven recommendations and present information concisely using qualitative and quantitative methods solving transportation reporting and automation problems.Provide operational research, analysis, technical expertise, and management support servicesfor many transportation issues and system automation problems.Research industry standards and develop mechanisms to differentiate carrier safety performance. Assist with identification of leading and lagging indicators relevant to incentivizing safety performance of DoD transportation providers. Provide input to monthly status reports and in-process reviewsfor all levels of management.

Monitor and verify that Coordinator performance is meeting minimum standards.Notify the DTC Division of deficiencies in the Coordinators performance and request action. Maintain liaison and direct communications with shippers/receivers.Investigate Coordinator complaints concerning Government performance.Monitor compliance of government activities to the terms and conditions of the contract and initiate corrective action. Adjudicates exception code usage between service/agency site and the Coordinator. Reviews and provides advice regarding DTC loss/or damaged shipment claim settlement offers. Report recurring/unresolved failures to the CO.
