Kaefers scope of works was to complete Pre Assembled Racks (PAR’s) that will be hooked up at Gorgon LNG Barrow Island, Australia. Works comprised of three main insulation systems which were cold conservation – cryogenic system, dual service – hot work, personal protection.The Superintendents responsibilities involved but not limited to, Training of a multi cultural workforce to meet project specification. Reporting to construction manager of live works and progress, also planning of future work releases and their requirements. Raising Technical Issues and resolving them with client and company QA/QC. Attending meetings with principle contractor and client to present programmed progress, health and safety campaigns and QA/QC issues, document any commercial implications that may compromise the contracted price through specification variations and modifications Liaising with safety department for JHA reviews and up and coming changes within our work scope. At the end of the project I also assisted the QA/QC with compiling the MDR documents for contractual completion of the project and final handover.

Based from the Pyle regional office, responsible for covering numerous fabric maintenance sites in Wales and Southern England for all Insulation and Scaffold works, this role also includes up and coming projects that are obtained throughout the region for operations for fabrication and installation.

Arzew LNG Project - AlgeriaThe GNL-3Z, Arzew LNG project, Butane, Propane and LNG skids heading to Algeria where Cape PLC where the principle contractor. The cryogenic insulation works and scaffold co-ordination works were under my control. This project was completed on time and within budget, the client was extremely happy with the standard and service given.My role consisted of raising any technical queries that compromised the specification and finding solutionsMaterial take offs, QA inspections, timesheets, cost reports, labour allocations and liaising with the client.
