Before my final year of studying at Staffordshire University I was able to take the opportunity of working in the industry for a year. I completed this year in Munich, Germany working for Europe's largest helicopter distributor, Eurocopter. As an employee in research and development for the simulation department my job entailed using artificial intelligence principles to develop autonomous aircrafts within Eurocopter's pilot training simulator, the aircrafts were designed to simulate traffic around airports.
