I have over 20 years experience developing products and systems in the offsite construction sector. Leading the company's transition through innovation allowing it to grow market share and enter new markets. Approximately 75% of the companies turnover comes from products that I have patented, currently over 40 patents in my name with more in the pipeline.We have started to enter an exciting new phase exploiting the Ultrapanel system I have developed, first with the room in roof solution but now a complete house. We are also rolling out a solution to wrap existing poorly insulated houses as part of a conversion to a zero carbon home. The potential for the solution has attracted international interest.My skills are varied, a big part is leading and inspiring a great team of designers and engineers trying to provide an environment where they can deliver. Although the design is my passion in reality this is only 10% of the job and dealing with every aspect of delivering ground breaking projects, structural, thermal, fire, hygrothermal, cost, manufacture, installation, certification are just part of it.That is not to forget the formative years I had working alongside Sir James Dyson after he plucked me from the RCA to join his then new company and work alongside him to develop the range of products that turned him into a household name.
