As a senior Infrastructure Service Analyst at Hill Dickinson I managed, configured, and supported the firm’s operational IT Services. I was SME and service owner for the business critical finance systems, antivirus, and backup and recovery among other systems.I was a technical lead in the implementation of numerous IT delivery projects to improving infrastructure and finance system integrations.

As a senior Disaster Recover Engineer for UKFast Ltd, I specialised in Enterprise solutions such as Microsoft Data Protection Manager and CommVault Simpana for the protection/recovery of windows and Linux Operating Systems as well as services residing on these. The role consisted of ensuring protection of client services and data, whether physical or virtual/Cloud based, and the recovery of their services in the event of DR scenarios.

I worked as an Infrastructure Consultant for Informed Solutions, a leading independent IS and IT consultancy; my team’s role consisted of both internal support for the corporate infrastructure and aiding in client related projects that required our expertise.

I worked as a Systems Support Specialist for four years at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP, a leading international law firm. As part of a small close-knit team I provided both 1st and 2nd line support as well as systems administration.

I worked as a software support analyst, consultant and eventually support manager at Emos Futures. The firm concentrated on middle office software for the Futures and Options market. My role was to manage a team of 3 support engineers as well as consult on solutions. I would meet with clients, usually large financial institutions, discuss their trade flow requirements and then test and install the Emos software solution.

As part of my degree I spent a year in industry working for Microsoft Developer Support; a second line analyst role. My team's broad remit was the solution of coding problems involving data sources, Microsoft Visual Studio or the Microsoft Office Developers kit.
